Bingo Workers in Brazil Stage Mass Strike

Ten thousand workers in Brazil staged a demonstration in front of the country’s National Congress to call for a regulation of the bingo industry according to the Brazilian Bingo Association.

Sector workers were responding to a recent federal police crackdown on bingo venues, which are currently deemed illegal in Brazil.

Total ban of bingo games in the country would result in around 40,000 people losing their jobs.
