Dr. Tarik Ramadan je vjerovatno najuticajniji evropski muslimanski intelektualac danas. Rođen je u Švicarskoj 1962. g. gdje je studirao filozofiju i francusku književnost te islamske studije. Islamsko obrazovanje je sticao i na Al-Azharu. Predavač je islamskih studija i saradnik na nekoliko univerziteta uključujući Oksfordski univerzitet u Engleskoj i Erasmusov univerzitet u Nizozemskoj. Predsjednik je organizacije Evropska muslimanska mreža (European Muslim Network). Živi u Engleskoj.
Autor je više knjiga na engleskom i francuskom jeziku, a prevođen je na sve važnije svjetske jezike. Dosada su mu dvije knjige prevedene i objavljene na bosanskom jeziku. Dr. Ramadan je nekolika puta boravio i u Bosni i Hercegovini, i tom prilikom održao zapažena predavanja i dao intervjue bosanskim medijima. RIS Canada 2010 – Reviving the Islamic Spirit
The conference was truly inspirational. Over 30, 000 (daily attendance ) Muslims practicing the Islamic faith talking about their contribution to society, discussing their faith and values.
It showcases Islamic leadership from across the globe sharing a common platform before the widest cross section of our community. This program hopes to empower the youth across North America (World) and inspire a true revival.
