Proud of what the people of the FRY are and will be. Saddened by the violence, tragedy and pure disregard for human life on all sides. I had the privilege of visiting Croatia and Bosnia as part of the IFOR/SFOR mission to restore peace in the region. In Croatia I breifly stopped in SLav Brod and and was able to interact with the people there. Soon after I entered Bosnia and onto Brcko, Duboj,Tuzla and Sarejevo. Each with its own character and charm, each with its share or misery. But the faces where the same divided by unseen ethnic and religious lines. All the faces bear the signs of war and hope.
