After watching this film and all it has to present to the world I am both saddened by it and proud. Proud of what the people of the FRY are and will be. Saddened by the violence, tragedy and pure disregard for human life on all sides.
I had the privilege of visiting Croatia and Bosnia as part of the IFOR/SFOR mission to restore peace in the region. In Croatia I breifly stopped in SLav Brod and and was able to interact with the people there.
Soon after I entered Bosnia and onto Brcko, Duboj,Tuzla and Sarejevo. Each with its own character and charm, each with its share or misery. But the faces where the same divided by unseen ethnic and religious lines. All the faces bear the signs of war and hope.
Congrats to all the peoples of B&H for there fight for freedom and justice. I am embarrased coming from a western country that more was not done to help the people of B&H to stop the rape, torture and murder b the Serbs. I hope someday to vist your country.
